Roll’X King unveils his highly anticipated EP “Barabbas” – Release date August 24, 2025

Douala, Cameroon – August 2025 – Rising star of the Cameroonian urban scene, Roll'X King , is about to mark a decisive turning point in his career with the release of his brand new EP “Barabbas” , scheduled for August 24, 2025. This 7-track project is coming to life thanks to a strategic collaboration between Nomad Est. 2000 , SN Productions (led by Sandra Nelly), and Evu Sound Records , the artist’s own label.

With Barabbas , Roll'X embraces a dynamic of redemption, revolt, and resilience. The title refers to the biblical character pardoned by the people—a powerful metaphor for the artist who has established himself as “The People's Choice ,” ready to carry the voice of an entire generation.

Oscillating between Afropop, trap, storytelling and modern Cameroonian sounds , this EP explores the themes of identity, success, exile, love, and destiny.
